Our Beliefs

Our sole authority is the Bible which is the inspired Word of God, inerrant and authoritative in all matters of faith and life.

It is at the moment of salvation that the Holy Spirit indwells the believer. The Holy Spirit draws a person to Christ, convicts believers of sins, illuminates the Bible, and bestows gifts upon each believer.

In the virgin birth of Jesus, His sinless life, His all sufficient death on the cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to heaven. He now sits at the right hand of God the Father, and He will one day soon return.

That God, on the sixth day, created man and man willingly disobeyed God which brought sin and death into the world.

Firmly in salvation by grace and grace alone. Baptism is an act of obedience that does not save a person. We believe that the proper mode of baptism is immersion.

God has established the Church, made up of baptized believers, to carry on His task on earth today. Our church is Christ led, congregationally governed and autonomous in all matters.

Evangelism is the job of every believer.
